About Father Jeff Fasching
Father Jeff Fasching, a Catholic priest and current Celebrant of the Traditional Latin Mass at the Catholic Diocese of Springfield/Cape Girardeau, informs his work with a wide range of experience in the Catholic Church; he also possesses a solid academic background. Drawing on these qualifications, Fr. Fasching presides over daily Mass, extends counseling to those in need of spiritual guidance, and commits himself to his own continued enlightenment through frequent prayer and meditation. Deeply dedicated to his faith, Rev. Jeff Fasching also visits a number of hospitals in the Springfield area to pray with those who are seriously ill or about to pass on.
Before joining the active ministry, Father Jeff Fasching prepared for success with a comprehensive education. After spending two years at Emporia State University and serving as Warehouse Coordinator for AT&T Technologies, he transferred his credits to Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Winona, where he undertook coursework in philosophy and simultaneously provided religious instruction in public schools. He received his Bachelor of Arts in 1993. Shortly after graduating, he entered Pontifical College Josephinum, in Columbus, Ohio. While working toward his Master of Divinity, he carried out various ecumenical and apostolic duties, wrote homilies, and steered prayer groups. In addition to these degrees, Rev. Jeff Fasching also received a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University.
Upon finishing his studies at Pontifical College Josephinum and following his ordination as a Catholic priest, Fr. Jeffery Fasching accepted the role of Associate Pastor with the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. Over the span of eight years, he conducted funerals and weddings, offered sacramental ministries, and acted as a spiritual advisor for a number of churchgoers. In other prior experience, he worked as a Case Manager and Workforce Development Specialist for the state of Missouri.
